After installing SP2 from CD, I just now discovered this problem:

I write music tracs to CD as normally do via Windows Media PLayer 9.

I can play the music from PC CDROMDVD or CDRW drives with WMP9-No problem :D

I can play this CD from my vehicle CD player[Sony]-No problem. :D

XXXXX, but I cannot play the CD from my home[Phillips-Older] CD player=It does not see the disk.."No disk".
XXXXX, the same happens from a friends homeCD player[Brand new]

I compared it to same CD made before SP2, but same extn=.cda files, so the problem must lie in how Windows close the disk at the end when writing.

Any help on this one ?

I once tried WMP for music CDs and it sucked. I had plenty of problems. Go out and "buy" yourself Nero 6. You will love it...

I actually never had a problem, but it looke like I used the rong CD's, bought CD-RW's in a hurry, forgot it don't work with music. I found a Verbatin CD-R and then it worked.

Not sure if the CD upper layers, the way of manufactured, is causing this ?
