I was looking over some cheap cases for a theme I'm currently thinking of buildign around and saw that.

I wanna know if all that mad-ugly plastic tumor-looking crap on the sidepanel is easilly removable. Anyone know or got one?
 
I bought the same case (without the tumor X looking stuff)lol. I think SVC had it for $15.

Actually for a cheap case its pretty nice.

Oh, what kind was it? If I could by-pass having to de-rice the case and save some money, I'd love to. lol
 
I just got mine out of the closet, its a Chenbro silver gaming box.

For a cheap case its pretty heavy, it says it has a Sparkle PS but it dosent.
I thought it was the same but its a little different.

I think if you painted the ugly silver X thing in front a cool color like blue,green or red and the CD rom covers black it is a pretty nice case.
 
pretty close in some aspects, but the design is different enough that they seem to be entirely different cases still. I was gonna rework the entire front face plate anyway so that was never any motivation. =p

Good call on figuring out I was after the G5 form lol, and it certianly looks better than the xoxide, but either way I'd have to seriously redo the facepanels on either one. Plus it seems kinda shrimpy compared to the xoxide.

Also, I dont have a machineshop or any "real" tools at my disposal, so the heavy ammunt of modification I'd have to do to the linkworld one just makes it infeasable for me to use.
 
Dont buy that lookalike G5

There's one close to my house, and in person? wow... Major let down!
 
If you want a G5 lookalike get a Chenbro Gaming Bomb 2, only bad thing about them is there hard to find.

I like the looks of the Xoxide X-Treme Case, I wish they had better pics of it however, cant see real good at how the inside is. Its also probably a good thing they discontinued some of the other colors and no longer have pics of them! But I really like the Black Silver one.
