Hey all i have xm radio and i am able to save 5 hours of music on it.. i have recorded a few whole cds and am trying to firgure out how if there is a way to get them onto my computer. i have a new external creative digital media sound card with auido intput i can run from the headphone plug in my xm. can someone please help me figure out if there is a way to get music from my xm2go to my computer. thanks a bunch.
 
I am not familiar with your XM, but you could always record directly onto your computer via your sound card. I could not imagine that what you want to do could be legal, so that is probably why there is no way for you to do that. (I could be completely wrong on that, so don't hold that to me.)
 
ive tried to record through the sound card but all i get is a small bit of static so that is my problem... and being legal wasnt on my mind
 
How are you connected to the sound card? You might need to specify that you are recording from the line-in because Creative sound cards are set to record from various sections.
