HOW would you go about have an xbox and a computer work at the same time?

I dont see the big problem here? Just turn on the PC, and then turn on the Xbox... and they should be working at the same time... do you want them connected in some kind of network or what? In the same case? Please specify!

You could probably put them inside a custom made case, and they could both fit - but they still wouldn't work together as one unit. Each one would still be doing it's own thing.

LOL You gonna cry??

You can also get a signal coverter so that you can play your xbox on your PC monitor.

Come on a bit of common decency to the newcomers we were all new at one stage, chill out. No need to be so elitist, it helps no one.

Its not possible to get a Xbox to play PC games the Xbox just won't play them as its a different platform (OS) so thats out of the of the question. But hosing them together is perfectly fine. If you built a custom case and had one drive for the xbox and the other for the PC and both hooked up to a monitor or duel screens it would be very possible, maybe even a switch to change what is displayed on one screen. Use your imagination and im sure you could come up with a compromise to what you have originally intended. Hope this helps.

This is very true. I am not sure why you would want to do this in the first place. The case would be huge as well as need probably 2 power supplys and whole bunch of fans. I think unless you have alot of space, time and money you sould leave them alone.

I remember a while ago like last year i seen a PC case that had alot of consoles in it, mind you they were all old, I think there was a total of 3/4, a PS1, SNES, and a couple others along with the working PC. Turned out well too he had the PS1 controler ports in one of the idle drive bays. Could be a good resource if you can find it Newbe.

Thats nice and all but thats not what he's asking. The best (I guess) example would be
Yoshi's Boxx. Try using google next time because there are HUNDREDS of pages about this. I hope this helps.

I assumed that is what he ment when he said the above statement. Good resurce that Yoshi's Boxx, the thing is damn sweet.

I think what hes trying to say is, is it possible to some how, take a hard drive, get the xbox OS on it.. then partition it and put windows xp/2000 or w/e on there, so when it boots you can choose to play xbox, or go to your pc for other stuff.

Actually it wouldnt be that hard, right? People swap 120 gig hdd's with the original xbox ones, so they can play pirated games on it and what not.. so... you would probably have to put the PC OS on first since xbox's load right away and dont go threw POST or anything of that sort.

I don't remember ever being halfway incoherent like that. This isn't a forum to learn english. It's not like he asked how to make a window in his case and we made fun of him for being inexperienced.

1. You came in here and said "How can you get a computer and an Xbox to work at the same time?" You can't possibly expect us to get "how do you fit an Xbox into a case and get it to synchronize with the computer" out of that.

2. Please learn to spell, I mean if you can't even find the energy to reach your poor little finger all the 3 inches from the "b" to the "o" keys to spell out "Xbox," or to type out "you," or "are," then well, you deserved every single flame here.
