Ok, this is odd. I have a fairly high end computer (Amd 64 3200+, Asus A8N SLi, Sapphire X800XT PCI-e. 1 Gig of OCZ EB, 80Gig 8meg cache main drive with 160Gig 8meg cache backup drive[both pata]) and in WoW and even CS ive been noticing some stutter.Like in WoW all of a sudden it'll just start to lag up and then it goes to slideshow mode. And sometimes its like just reloading the textures walking in a straight line causes lag.

When I got all this stuff I did a clean install. I defrag every week. I am using XP with SP2 and the ATI 4.12 drivers. Now is this a hardware problem? driver problem? or could there be something else?

The 80Gig drive is around 3 years old. the 160 is around 1. Both games are on the 80gig.

I've scanned for virus's Spyware all that and nothing helps.

Any help would be awesome.
 
Is it pretty hot in ur case? Leave the side panel open.

is your gfx fan still working? fans die occasionally
