X800 XT PE Pre-orders

Is anyone here part of the group that preordered their X800 XT PE directly from ATI waay back when? I think I had a preorder with ATI back in August and I still have no idea what's going on with that order. It seems no one knows anything. There are those fortunate enough to have found them in stores and whatnot, but the rest of us are just sitting around clueless.

Go to stores like BestBuy and CompUSA and see if you can get a manager or some1 to help you get the card. That's what I did back in August and by September I got my card at the retail $499.99 through BestBuy's customer fulfillment deal.

Only 7 shown, since I have already sold 4 on eBay.

With widespread availability of the R850 coming in January, ppl are just being dumb blowing that much money on a 8 month old card.(introduced in the end of April.) FFS! The R520 just taped out. By May that should be coming out and you want $675 for these things? Blah......

People on eBay are buying them for $600 + s/h (What I am selling them for) and to be honest, if they want to pay that much for it. I'd buy more, but I ran outta coupons for BestBuy

$31 shipped on eBay. Bought it from some guy in Japan. Pretty good seller, If you are looking to buy one, I pmed you the seller who I bought it from.

XT-PE = AGP
R850 and R520 = PCI

Alot of people don't want to buy an entire new set-up (mobo,psu,etc) when they buy a v.card.

But for a reseller, AGP/PCI, doesn't matter much right now, both cards are in short supply.

Quite right.. I don't feel like upgrading my mobo just to get a PCI-X vcard, which is why I'm trying to get an X800 XT PE. I guess I'll have to continue playing the waiting game for now

I didn't think they were selling for that much anymore. I stopped ebaying them back in Sept because too many people had them and the prices went below the 600 mark. But that summer I was selling them for around 680 avg. Kinda wish I would have kept one Awesome cards

I bought like 15 of them there within the last 3 months

I went thru a huge ordeal to try to get my hands on one of these X800XTs back in May-July of last year. I first ordered from Best Buy, then PC Nation, then CompUSA, then ATI directly, then Gateway. Every single place let me down so I quit trying and got an X800 Pro for $350 on ebay and now have a 6800U. Im more happy with my 6800U then i was with the x800 pro.
