Alright, I may be stupid and missing something but I can't figure it out, so some help would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, I have a Powercolor SCS X700XT video card. The back of it has a TV out (s-video?) and it is a 9-pin connection. The box came with a bunch of cables including a VIVO cable that is 9-pin. However! The component cable it came with is a 7-pin and does not fit. Am I missing something here? or did they give me the wrong cable? From what I gather searching on google, the 9-pin cables are suppose to be for X800 series cards am I correct? and the 7-pin for X700 series.

Can someone explain maybe? I'm lost, I hope it's as simple as just going and buying a 9-pin component cable. Thanks!

Wow, you actutally got a x700XT, i know PRO exist, i thought 700XT were make believe stories. Anyways, the 9 pin cable you have there that fits into your card is most-likey your VIVO or HDTV cable. Plug that VIVO cable in, then plug your S-Video cable into one of its slot or use the S to AV cable or some sort. Let me check my cable box.

The VIVO cable is a 7-pin to 4-pin s-video out, there is no way I can connect the component cable to it.
