Hey all i have a ultra x-connect 500w power supply Its in the silver case like this one pictured

http://www.ultraproducts.com/product_gallery.php?cPath=37&pPath=157&productID=158

And i want to modify it to look really cool. I was thinking about makeing an acrylic case and get 2 led fans to mount in there. If ne one has ne cool mods i would really like to know

Thanks all

I really hope you guys think of a cool mod.... I think u will

Acrylic is a bad idea because it doesn't contain EMI. And a simple AC Ryan plexi cover mod won't fit because the PSU is a little longer than some (6"?)

Regular acrylic also burns like crazy and is illegal to use for enclosures of TVs, monitors, etc. Maybe that's why one maker of clear PC cases warned against running PCs in them, except for demonstration purposes and while someone was in the same room.
