X-Box puter....

Hey guys, me again, i saw someone post about an X-Box computer , and i wanted one, so i went out and got an empty X-Box case to put my shit in... All i want to know is how you did it... please make a readme or explain and tell what kind of parts you used (like a shuttle MOBO or w/e) thanks...

its not hard first a mini-itx mobo is the best. and a laptop HDD is the best. and if you want the power supply in it then you have to take the psu out of its case and mount it.

Try doing a search on this forum then (Google turned up alot of links but it looks like most are crap) and other forums like Bit-Tech.

It's fairly straightforward, put the parts from a pc in the xbox case. Fitting them all together is your part, hence the whole case modding thing. I don't see any real complications - a fairly basic swap.

The ironic thing is that the xbox is probably a more powerfull computer than anything mini-itxish you could put in there. Of course this has it's coolness factor.
