I want to play my PC games on my HDTV. What's the longest USB extension cord I can get away with (running from my PC to the x-box controller) and not have any lag input? I know with monitors the HDMI/DVI cables need to be 12 feet or less, is that the same case for gaming controllers?
 
I wouldn't be surprised if most usb controllers are running at usb 1 low speed, not even usb 1 hi-speed. The signaling requirements are pretty low, depending on polling rates, maybe.

I ran a bunch of controllers with two back to back 6 foot usb extentions and a usb hub to a steam link, and everything was ok, except for force feedback would pull too much power and the controllers would disconnect.

Anyway, try it, it'll probably work.
