WTF with ninja :P

hey all,

i took off my 120mm antec fan off my Scythe Ninja, to sleeve the fan wire. I said why not turn the pc on, its only a 2.8ghz P4 s478, cant burn up too quickly, coming from a 28-30c idle CPU temp. I turned on my computer, and the CPU temperature is sitting idle at 26c how can this be lol, i have a Gigabyte Aurora, so the fan direction was good, but why is it cooler now at passive

different ambient temps? better flow through intake/output (which would be weird). erroneous bios temps.

all i did was remove the fan on the ninja, nothing else, same fan setup, same airflow, same BIOS and Everest

it might, might be ambient temp, guess ill check 2moro as well

That's what happens when you go from air cooling in the summer to passive in the winter.

lol im pretty sure its a CPU temp sensor... Everest is reading 2***rpm on CPUfan, when the only thing i have connected is my Zalman 7000cu to the sys_fan header.. and btw, its summer here in Australia, so im more confused
