Go to newegg.com and search by category, click LCD flatpanel monitors, on the sied select 12ms and search. There are about 4-5 monitors, each one almost exactly like the other. All Samsung. Prices differ by at least 100$ in some cases.

Whats the deal? Which is the best? If there is no difference, why even make a different model?
 
I looked at that exact page, and if you will notice, they are not only different model numbers, but they have slightly different specs, as well.

For example, the 2 more expensive models have DVI-D, while the cheaper ones do not. ALWAYS get DVI-D.

They also all have slightly different brightness values and contrast ratios.
