WTB- Dell 2405FPW Stand

I know this is in the wrong section but I had no luck in Buy & Sell.

Anyways I am trying to find a replacement stand for my 2405, I would prefer the oem Dell stand if someone has there old one laying around after upgrading. I would consider others such as the ergotron 300 too. Please let me know. Thanks

Out of curiosity, what happened to yours? And why can't you get Dell to send you a new one?

I dropped it while moving & broke it. I bought it off of E-bay so I have no Dell support I was told by Dell.

They may not be able to send you one for free, but they should at least be able to sell you one.

Have you thought about trying to use a standard vesa arm? as in a wall mounting or deskarm/clamp attachment solution? or is this not an option?

That stand says it can support up to 16 lbs. Dell's site lists the 2405 at 22.1 lbs.

15.4lbs - monitor only
22.1lbs - with stand

So it should work with the Neo-Flex stand. DeskStand 100 would work as well. Though it doesn't look as nice as the Neo-Flex and is a lot more expensive. Check Ergotron's compatible monitors list.

dude , i dropped my stand yesterday while packing her up to take home from the office ( i just could not resist firing it up) IT did not break. So help me God if your a littel shit that stole one off a stand from some poor slob that worked his ass off to own one...........youwill be cursed to place last in CS or whatever game you play for the rest of your life

Thanks for the help everyone, I have ended up ordering a neo-flex arm.
Hope it works as good as it looks. I think I still would of prefered the original stand thoough.
