WPA2 not showing up in Xp

I have a Linksys wireless G and DLink wireless N card. WPA2 does not show up as an option in XP, but I need this to access my router.

If I load up Vista on it, WPA2 does show up as an option.

Latest drivers downloaded for each one.

Am I missing something?

What updates have you installed to Windows? Not supported by default...it's an update from Microsoft you install.

None, yet. Couldn't connect to the internet to do the updates.

I guess it just caught me off guard.

You need a driver that supports WPA2 and the 802.11i OS patch.

If you have a XP SP2 disk around that will do it.

My Windows XP SP2 disc does NOT install the WPA2 stuff, however mine could be wrong I am not sure. I got it provided to me by my college in ISO format and burned it.

You need 2 things to get this to work

1)The most updated drivers for your Wireless NIC
2)This update from Microsoft for XP
