Would you trust it?!

I have an 8 years old system, powered by a Thermaltake ToughPower 1500W (praised for its clean power by JonnyGuru back in the days). The motherboard and probably GPU (couldn't test it without a motherboard) broke at the same time. I'm guessing the GPU also because a capacitor was unsolder on it (but maybe it was like that for a while and still working).

Would you use that PSU again (all voltages are great, perfectly on specs)?
It would be for a home file server. I don't want to loose the data, but the parts themselves are old and not important.

It's plugged into a good powerbar, but not a UPS (my next buy). The powerbar should have stop a surge, no?

No unless it is a surge suppressor or a line conditioner it will not stop a surge.

As you have tested the voltages and watched for variations, it looks like it isnt failing.
I would continue using it.
