Just throw in your best knowledge or guess, on if this would be available...

P4 LGA775 3.4 - 4.0 GHz Extreme Edition
1 GB of Dual Channel RAM (I know this will be available, as it already is...)
Flex-ATX or Mini-ATX Mobo with dual PCI-Express x16 support (or just the newest confirmed LGA775 mobo)
2x nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra PCI-Express in SLI

Input would be highly appreciated.

odds are extremely good that around this time next year you will be fully able to get that system, and perhaps even better than that honestly
 
By this time next year the next gen. video cards will be out I bet and maybe dual core cpu's.
 
your going to put 2x 6800u's in a mini-atx case? o_o thats going to be one compact space heater

but yea in a year there will be what like 2 or more rounds of new video cards, and a handful of higher clocked cpus, probably over 4000+/4ghz

32mb L3 Cache? HOLY SHIT! i cant even imagine how much that would cost, seeing as how its only in 2 years, and we are at 1000 dollar cpu's with 2mb L3!!
 
I would say we'll have a 4 Ghz EE (4 Ghz procs due next first quarter), but skeptical about the dual PCI-e 16x port mATX/flexATX cases.

As for the Tukwila, I'm not surprised about the 32 MB L3 cache, since the Tukwila is part of the Itanium line, so it's not like we'd be buying it anyways (Itanium 2 has 6 MB L3 cache right now).
 
Well, thanks for the input. The dual video cards will be in a Hornet SFF barebones system, which is a little bigger than most SFF cases. And, due to the new thinking that has crossed my mind, I am betting that I only need one PCI Express x16 port, due to the SLI thingy... Well, anyways here is the expected system...

Intel P4 LGA775 Prescott Core 4.2 GHz CPU
Whatever mobo that comes with the LGA775 socket Hornet SFF Barebones
1 GB or 2 GB of PC5400 DDR II SDRAM
2x nVidia GeForce 6800 PCI-Express SLI
2x SATA II HDDs
 
It's pretty unlikely that you will see a small form factor motherboard with more than one PCI Express x16 slot, simply because compact power supplies aren't beefy enough to deliver the power needed, especially when a Pentium 4 needs to get fed too.
