Most people are in the situation where they figure out what components they want and then choose a power supply based on their needs. I'm in a somewhat unique situation in that for my next HTPC build, I'll probably be limited to an inbuilt PSU, figure ~300watts. Question is - what's the most robust graphics card I can squeeze out of that? (for a little gaming on the side. nothing intense though) I'll probably have a low-ish power cpu/mobo setup, bluray drive/burner couple of hard disks in the system apart from my graphics card. The cases I'm looking at are either Antec or Silverstone so I figure they will probably perform decently for the rated wattage.

4670 is a good choice, its gaming performance is about even with the last generation 3870. i personally would pick the 4850 512 for better gaming performance at 19x10, its closest performance rival is the 9800gtx that requires two 6 pin plugs for power, and the ati card will draw less power at idle than its nvidia counterpart. ati cards, unlike any of the current gen nvidia cards, don't require you to connect the spdif jumper to the video card to get the audio pass through via hdmi.
