Hoping someone knows how to fix WMP.

It works when playing a .wmp file off the hard drive. Sites such as this http://www.1057ezrock.com/, the live feed won't work. Some inline .wmp vid's won't play online.

I have uninstalled WMP, reinstalled. Upgraded. Gotten Codex. It still doesn't work. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

What specific page at http://www.1057ezrock.com/ ?

If you are referring to the ones at http://www.1057ezrock.com/content/jacksoul , those are not working for me at the moment. The WMP plugin initializes, but the script the URI points to isn't sending any data.

So for that one, it's just the site. Have another site that you have problems with?

What browser are you using?

Many sites I have this problem. Streaming won't work. And some sites where there is a vid player built into the page, it won't work.

On the main page of http://www.1057ezrock.com/ there is a Listen Now button. That's what doesn't work.
It pops up, the player says Ready,but won't play anymore. This Listen Live doesn't work either http://www.y108.ca/home/index.cfm. None of them work. These sites were just examples. It's not specific to one site though.

I am using Netscape BUT I have checked in IE and the problem is the same... the player won't work.

These sites used to work. I simply don't know what went wrong with the player.

I was at ver 10 of WMP. It worked fine .. never had a problem. Then it broke... no idea why & I can't fix. I've uninstalled WMP. Gone back to 9. Reinsalled. Gone back to 10. Now I'm at 11. I've gotten 2 codecs, none did a thing to fix it. I'm stumped.

The only thing that does work, is a file on my harddrive such as a music or vid file.. when playing off my hard drive, they will play in WMP.

O.K. I couldn't see their Listen Now link because I haven't reinstalled flash yet and their alternate content text is styled in white, but the background is white too, so it appeared hidden.

Anyway, what happens if you load up the WMP player, goto file -> open url and load this link http://www.sri.ca/asx/asxgen.php?mount=chre&176201681156677023 ?
