Wiring help requested

Move your hard drive up to the other tray. Pull out the bottom tray. That will make it look a little less cluttered. Hide the excess ribbon cables inbetween drives. Also, use tape to tape any other cables to the hard drive tray side facing the motherboard.

i have a case, very similer to that actually, and i route my mobo cable in the little support beam that goes accross the case.
also, i recently took that purple plastic thing off the bottom front part(just cause).

but yeah those support beams are great for hiding wires

See all that blue split loom? Throw it in the trash and get some sleeving. Buy some molex connectors so you can trim your PSU mess. This is a old pic but it's the same chassis as yours. This case is a breeze to make nice and clean looking.

I'm going with the mirrored acrylic. I should have it by this weekend, then I'll post pics. But, definitely go with the sleeving over the loom. Loom is nice, but the sleeving just opens up more options for routing those cables.

u can cut a hole there like i did so my wires go directly behind then come out again between the right side of the mobo tray and the hdd cage

Sleeving can be a b*tch if you don't know what you're doing. My two biggest tips are make sure that you have the fins bent far enough out that the pins will stay in (this is something that I did not know until AFTER I sleeved, so lots of my connectors are loose), and use a tape that leaves very little residue (i.e. scotch or masking tape) to tape the pins together and make it easier to get sleeving over it. Also, when you tape the pins together, tape them down as close as you can to the wire so it's easier to slide the sleeving over. Done right, before you mod you should have all your cables looking basically like one fat cable... as in the areas where the pins are taped down are not much larger than the rest of the actual wires.

Directron sells a Techflex sleeving kit for $20 that covers basically everything you need to sleeve, aside from a heat gun (hair dryer). And if you feel the need, partsexpress.com sells a heat knife that you can use to cut the sleeving that will prevent fraying (though I haven't used it myself, just thought of it). The Techflex kit worked great for me and that's why I suggested that Directron carry it :) Though I'm sure you can find it elsewhere.

If you do the sleeving mod, and do it well, you will be EXTREMELY pleased with the results. I did a crappy job and my wires still look better than that split loom stuff.

That space is already empty on these cases.

I don't have money right now for sleeving, but I'll see about cutting a hole behind the mobo tray. any other ideas?
