Wireless usb?

I recently bought my dad the Qmotions golf simulator thing. His problem is that he doesn't have enough room to swing his clubs in the Den. What he wants to do is find some way to extend the video and usb into the family room. He's already found something that can do wireless s-video and sound, or he could always run a long cable i guess. Is there any kind of wireless usb device? Only thing I have found is wireless print servers that have usb in, but I'm not sure that would work.

If you have any ideas or know of anything that would work, please let me know.

I heard a rumor Wireless USB is in production - isnt there hardwire USB cable extenders?
 
Yeah, he said he found a usb extender. He would still prefer the wireless though, however if it doesn't exsist he obviously will go with the extender.
 
It's time to move the computator into the ol' garage! Kick out the car(s)!
 
Yeah, I had already considered the HTPC route. I think I will recommend it to him and piece a computer together for him. I figure that the wireless video he found is $200 and the usb extender will run him close to $100. That's $300 right there. His current computer isn't all that great, and an htpc built for around $500 or so will probably perform equal or better.
