I have a wireless network which consists of a DLink DI-614+ and a DLink DWL 510+ which is a wireless router and a wireless PCI card.
Anyhow when I run a ping command from the computer with the PCI card I notice that it seems to return eight packets then loose two then return eight and loose two.
When I ran 100 it returned eight and lost two five times which accounted for half the packets. The rest did not appear to have a pattern.
I know I've read about connections dropping out but I don't think this is the same, any suggestions ?
If it were simple packet loss I would blame it on the signal which is about 95/45 but this pattern seems odd.
