One of the few things I don't know about computers is wireless networking.

So my current situation is this, I have my PC and my X-Box 360 set up near my monitor, and I want to access a currently running WiFi network in the house. What I want to do is run two ethernet/usb cords into some sort of Wireless router/adapter/bridge/access point hub to access the wireless network.

However, I don't particularly have a pile of cash on me right now, so the solution would have to be less than 100 bucks. That, and I don't even know where to start.

First of all, is there anyway to do that?

Secondly, what do I need to access the network?

Thirdly, what would suggest I buy?

Thanks!

Sounds like you are looking for a wireless bridge. I had a Dlink one while back that I used to connect older systems to a wireless network. I think it was about $70.

It will work as long as the existing wireless router is running a b/g network. Which it probably is...

Cheaper solution: Surprised no one has mentioned this yet. Get a second wrt linksys router or a compatible buffalo router and use DD-WRT. Simple and cheap.
