Wireless Keyboard / Mouse problems

I have a wireless microsoft keyboard and a wireless logitech mouse, and when I am playing games my keyboard has been screwing up in a few ways:
1) When i am moving in games, sometimes it will stop moving enough though i am continuing to hold the button down
2) Sometimes it will lock forward like I am constantly holding down the forward key and will not reset unless i reset the game

is this due to interfernce between the two devices? Do i need to RMA the keyboard and get a wired one? (I love this mouse, so I'm not getting rid of that....0

Any suggestions or anything?
 
Do you have the latest directX driver? You also might want to download logitech's drivers/software and uncompress the file onto your harddrive, then load your mouse's driver manually without installing that crappy blotware...
 
What keyboard mouse combo are you using. I don't have your answer, but i've been thinking of buying the wireless microsoft natural keyboard and later adding an MX 1000. I am wondering how they interact.

Here's a lil' rule of thumb-- do not mix brands when it comes to "wireless" products. Yes, there is known possibilities that having a MS keyboard and a LT mouse would cause interference with each other. You're really better off buying a wired keyboard (I mean really, is it so hard to live with one? I mean, you practically started out with wired keyboards and peripherals). Your only other option is the buy a wireless LT keyboard which is most likely compatible with the other mouse.

I was afraid of that,
Believe it or not it's my wife asking for the keyboard change, I've got the MS natural keyboard currently (wired in white/beige) but our new monitor is black so she wants it to match. May look into painting it. (krylon paint baby)
