Since we cannot wire anything to our second floor we need whatever that has to be sent up there to be wireless. We currently have wireless G running up to the computer upstairs and I have a small 9" TV. I'm using an atenea, I get the basic channels, but I want my HBO and other stations I frequently watch. Is there some kinda of device that would broadcast the cable signal throughout the house wirelessly? I've seen a wireless rca video signal transmitter at radioshack...but that would require a VCR in the basement for tuning and signal broadcasting...I've also seen wireless telephone line transmitters. Is there anything like this?

I don't wanna sound like an idiot but, whats stopping you from drilling a quarter size hole in the floor ? i have one in the corner of my room about the size of a gold dollar and i have my cable for computer & tv right here, also telephone line.

but if u really can't drill, i suggest getting a cordless phone at least 3Ghz and keeping the handset upstairs ? and the charger downstairs? i dunno man

i'm just rambling on about stuff i don't know about

I need just CATV...I have a phone....We can't drill through the floor...that's the problem...We can't run it through the attic, because it comes in to the house in through the basement....The way this house was built it would cost too much to run cables up to the second floor....
