Like the other post I am stuck at low speed settings, and am looking for some suggestions. The connection fires instantly to 300mbps and always stays right there, so I feel as though some setting is throttling it

I have a Linksys EA6100 AC1200 and Alfa Wireless AC1200 USB 3.0 adapter

Up to date drivers (not utilities) plugged into USB 3.0 port and the router and adapter are unobstructed and about 20ft away

Any ideas how I can get some better speeds? This setup has surpassed 300mbps in the past, and now I'm stuck here. Is it just interference from 5ghz neighbors? I can post some inssider screenies if need be

I realize in the screenshot it says wireless N only, I was just testing some stuff and forgot to reset it for the screenie, but everything is the same on wireless A/N

turned everything to auto and now I get 780mbps, tell me how that makes sense

haha, oh. There is no option for a/c just a/n and n (and auto) so I figured a/n was what they called a/c.

Weird there is no option for a/c only
