It’s a ploy, they removed all the secret back doors and government listening devices then leaked it themselves this way the paranoid 3’rd parties will see there were no secret government agencies spying on XP.

Is my pr0n collection safe? That’s my only real concern.
 
This could affect all versions of Windows since Microsoft doesn't exactly rewrite Windows code from scratch with each new iteration. Hackers could look at this code and look for vulnerabilities or back doors that nobody knew about. On the plus side it could help with projects like ReactOS and WINE.
