Blue screen on boot. Message says that "\SystemRoot\System32\config\security" file is either corrupt or missing. Have tried running repair console from boot floppies, but it doesn't give many options. I have verified that file is there, so it must be corrupt. Any ideas?

reformat and reinstall... no good at all... could try to replace file with one from another comp... that used to work back in the day...
