Windows 7 Upgrade Option: What to do w/Vista?

I picked up a copy of Vista Business right when Microsoft started offering the "Windows 7 Upgrade Option" program.

Now, my question is, after I upgrade to 7, is my Vista license basically garbage? Or can it be installed on another computer?

If it is a Retail Lic, then you can install it on another Computer. If it is OEM, technically you are out of luck.

Does that mean the License says you can't, but it will still work if you do? Or does it mean that Windows will fail to activate?

I am pretty sure the OEM Lic states you cannot use it on another computer. Will it activate or not on another computer? I am not 100% sure. I would assume it would not based off of a Hardware GUID.

If it's an Upgrade license of 7, you can't be using both the 7 and Vista licenses at the same time.
