I got my Windows 7 Ultimate this week (launch party) and installed it on the following setup:

* Cooler Master Elite 330
* Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P motherboard
* AMD Phenom II Quad 940 Black Editon - Stock cooling
* 8GB G-Skill PC2-6400
* XFX Radeon 4870 1GB
* Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA II
* Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB SATAII
* Onboard LAN/HD Audio
* Logitech DiNovo Keyboard
* Logitech MX Revolution Mouse
* 2 X Yate Loon 120mm silent case fans
* 2 X Dell" S2309 W @ 1900 x 1080

I have already installed the latest ATI drivers for this video card, but do I need to download/install audio/lan/chipset drivers or just leave the drivers the OS used alone?

If I need to download drivers, what drivers do I need to download and can you link me?

Latest Catalyst should be enough, winupdate should detect and install the audio and logitech kb and mouse.

If onboard HD audio is by Realtek then go get the newest 2.35 ones that just came out. Also drivers are newer if its a Marvell Gigabit onboard.

Windows Update can usually take awhile to get even older released drivers.
