Biometrics enhancements include easier reader configurations, allowing users to manage the fingerprint data stored on the computer and control how they log on to Windows 7.

Now, a thought just popped into my head. I wonder when hackers are going to start and try to get people's finger prints. I mean, not that they aren't doing that now.. but I see bad things happening from this. Stolen CCs are bad, but finger prints... you get the drift.

Thoughts?

Since it's not actually storing the fingerprint per-se it's just like any other biometrics. Basically takes the points that it finds on your finger, creates a unique hash based on it, then stores that. Pretty much like any other system these days, now it's just that Windows is doing it on it's own.
