Hi guys,
I'm having some problems with my computer (viruses, spyware, etc). I have many drives in my comp but what i'm worried about is this:
I have a 200 gig wd hard drive as my main drive, its partitioned as a 5 gig for windows/etc and the other space has files on it. I also have a raid setup for 2 80 gig drives that appear as a 160.
IF i unplug all my drives but my main one, reformat the windows partition, reinstall with windows xp will:
1. My files on the other partion still be there and be recognized by windows xp
2. Will windows xp recognize my 2 drives that are raided together, or should i just move the data on the raided drives to one of my spare 160 gig drives and then go from there?
Its been about 2 years since i've had to reformat, and dumb me, i never made backups. Don't want to redo everything, but whatever I have on my comp has uninstalled my firewall, and will not let me reinstall it. Whats the best route to go so i don't lose my data?
Thanks for the help.
