I am trying to get wifi working on my HP Envy 14 (m/n: 14-2020nr) that came with an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 WLAN adapter. I have not been able to get wireless to work in windows 10. I tried installing a new Intel Dual Band Wireless‑AC 7260 WLAN adapter only to find out that the BIOS would not accept it and therefore would not POST.
Has anyone been able to get the 6230 working in Windows 10. I know the intel site doesn't say it is not officially support in 10, but 8.1 drivers have been working for many intel cards not officially supported in 10.
I have tried things like disabling power savings options, restarting wlan services. Uninstalling and re-installing the latest drives, BIOS updates, and so forth.
