Windows 10, A88X USB 3.0 ports don't recognize 2.0 devices

Was wondering if anyone has heard of this or knows of a solution, I have a Gigabyte A88X-UP4 with an 860K on it. I had 8.1 installed, upgraded to 10.

Now the problem seems to be all of the back I/O USB 3.0 ports that come from the chipset don't detect USB 2.0 devices. They work fine with USB 3.0 stuff like my thumb drive, and the front header 3.0 ports work fine as well but I believe those are off of an ASMedia controller.

Is there any fix for this? It is really, really annoying not being able to plug in half of my stuff without putting a hub on the two 2.0 ports offered on the rear I/O.

All ports worked flawlessly under 8.1 and 7, and I do have the latest AMD chipset drivers for Windows 10 installed.
