Win 8 Intel RST issue

This worked under Windows 7 with no issues.

After installing Intel RST 11.5, my HDD is set for system and the SSd is set to cache. Trying to enable it does not take. I have included a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/XyEN5.png

I'm having issues as well - IAStorUI has stopped working as soon as I launch it from the control panel.
