Will TN ever finish her computer Poll

When will Top Nurse finish her Aqua Computer/Lian-Li project?

Even though her HW is like 3 generations old................:D

Not for long. :D The case is still good shit and everything else gets a makeover with G 1/4 parts along with 8mm ID tubing. Hell must have frozen over too because it looks like a DDC might make it into the GPU and CPU circuits.

Speaking of generations...I'd love to see some numbers with a G80 and C2D pushing 3.6+ on that AC cooling gear! No fans over 1350 rpm allowed. Now that would be interesting.

Sorry, but no Intel crap goes in my computers. Last Intel CPU I had was a 386 SX-25. :D Ask around and you will find others that have used AC gear to do what you want though. The reason they don't post much here is because they get tired of being flamed and told they are liars when they do post that kind of information. Sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy...

BTW, I wouldn't even consider a fan that exceeded 1150 rpm and only then if it was quiet.

Someone aught to convince Hank at performance-pcs.com to carry full alphacool, aquacomputer, MIPS, EK, and innovatek lines of product lines.

???

So you dont want to move to the highest performing processors with even more performance headroom with easy high % overclocking just to stick with a brand? That seems rather myopic.

Never, she is to busy taking paychecks to spread FUD about other products and praise aquapc to do anything else.

Ahh back to your true colors. A flame, thread hijack, and off topic post all in one.

BTW, aquapc is a distributor of water cooling components in the UK. I have seen their website a few times and have sent them some biz on occassion.

Not actually as I like AMD products and they run considerably cooler which makes for less cooling concerns. My 3500+ (stock 2.2 Ghz) OC's to 2.75 Ghz which really is more speed than I can currently use so who cares? My next chip will be an Opteron that I think will go over 3 Ghz. :D

Besides I see Intel doing what they have always done and start limiting the ability of their chips to OC. So I am in for the long run and don't want to get setup for a faulty IHS just so I can say I got an extra 600 Mhz.
