Will this screen look bad turned sideways?

I have a 3008wfp and am looking for a cheap screen to add to the side as a second monitor. I know that the panel is tn wont be anywhere near to the 3008wfp but is it going to be all washed out with the viewing angles turned sideways? (Never owned a tn panel since they always look bad).

In terms of resolution and dot pitch as well as physical alignment this is the closest you will get (when the monitor is displayed in portrait mode 1200 x 1600).

Those are about $150 on ebay the stand would make it real nice but the only thing I would be worried about is it dieing since those haven't been made for like 3 or so years now?
