The cooler is this one: Cooler Master RR-910-HTX3-G1 Hyper TX3 CPU Cooler.
I plan on using it for my redone current old style rig.
Case - Cooler Master Mystique
CPU - AMD Sempron 3000+ 1800MHz (likely will try to OC some for F@H)
2GB RAM - Kingston PC3200 RAM - both have this for details under CPU-Z:
JEDEC timings table CL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS-tRC @ frequency
JEDEC #1 2.5-3-3-7-n.a. @ 166 MHz
JEDEC #2 3.0-3-3-8-n.a. @ 200 MHz
GPU - nVidia GeForce 6200 8x AGP
The mobo currently being used is MSI K8T800RB-8237
I am replacing it with:
ASUS K8V-X SE (brand new in box)
and my PSU will be a Corsair HX-750W (which is replacing my Ultra ULT-XF600 which died. I'm using a 450 temporary generic PSU right now to limp along.
I am compiling the parts as funds allow for a new build but I need to take it slow as the $$ just is not all there.
So, will the cooler allow for some OCing or do you extremely knowledgeable folks suggest I just run at stock speed? I do need to replace the cooler fan for the CPU as it is making an awful racket. I saw one of the blades had disappeared and found the remnants in the case bottom, so I want to get a cooler.
This PC will transition to my son once the new build is done.
Thanks for looking and any advice you can throw at me. Civil advice and constructive help that is.
Best Regards,
