Ok I have come into so new equipment that I didnt plan to so out with the old skt478 system and in with the new. As a measure to utilize some of the stuff I already have I am using the following water cooling items:
Dtek Whitewater
DD Vga block X2?
Black Ice II pro
Swiftech 317gph pump
Single 5.25 res
all 1/2 in fittings

Now here is the comp specs:
Enermax 500w mod psu
Asus P5ND2 SLI Intel Edition
550 3.4ghz cpu(upgrading to Conroe once they drop)
2 1gb Corsair XMS2 675mhz
2 BFG 7800GT's in SLI

Now will I be able to cool this system properly with the above cooling methods. I am definitely looking for max performance for games. I am not terribly concerned with noise. I am just hoping for some good OC's.
Here is my planned loop:

Res>pump>Cpu>gpu1>gpu2>rad

Input or suggestions?
 
bro if you have an watercooled x2 and slid 7800gt's and that's not enough horsepower for you gameing then i'd say you're addicted .... it should run anything at all no problems unless you want to run oblivian at 4aa16ax 1900x1200 HDR etc..... then you might slip under 30fps here and there ...

what do you play?
 
Ha...No I dont have an X2. What I ment was I will have two of the Danger Den water blocks in my loop. The CPU I will be using is the 550 3.4ghz prescott oc'ed to the limit. I am hoping 4.0ghz and that is only 240mhz fsb so I am assuming this is attainable. What I am really looking for is confirmation that I am not overloading this loop, and that I should or should not expect decent temps.

I am sure that gaming with this rig will be awsome anyways, but isnt that what this place is all about? Getting th most out of system and finding was to eek out every oz of speed available.


Oh...I play a lot of FEAR right now. I have just started and I am hooked, but mostly FPS.
 
Your dumping a lot of heat into the loop, but the dual radiator should be able to handle just fine.
