No idea if it will fit, but I'm curious why you just don't get a reference 5870 instead and save $100.
 
why are you getting that model at that price if your gonna remove that stock cooler anyways? and if you get a reference model, those blocks should fit
 
how can i find out if the card is reference? It seems that after launch many AIBS change stuff
