• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Will it be enough?

Say it with me, stay away from Rosewell. If you want a lot of paper weights, then use the Rosewell when it blows up. Get the Corsair instead.

So wait, a Corsair 450W > Rosewill 550W?

Sorry if what I'm asking sounds dumb, but this is the first rig I've built on my own in a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. And back then, 300W PSUs were more than plenty.

I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say you might need a bit more power, but yeah stay away from Rosewell i have heard nothing but bad things.
Also watch the 12V rail A rec for your card.

But from what I understand is that a crappy PSU will be over rated which is to say it might peek at 550W but its actual output would be much less.
Which I would assume is why they burn out so much.

Here is a link to a cool little tool newegg provides.
