Wifi signal kaput.

So I bought these new antenna for my linksys wifi router, which before installed I could get quite some distance from the house on my 5.5 acre property here before losing signal.

I installed the antennas and saw not only no improvement, but, can barely get any signal while IN the house. I did a hard reset of the router and reinstalled the default antennas with no results the signal is still poor in the house.

Has anyone got any idea what went wrong here?

What antena ? AND what wireless unit!

was a set of extended antenna aftermarket for the linksys WRT54GL unit.
I don't know if the antenna had some adverse effect on the unit or what.
