Wierd ass question

Ok heres what I want to do, instead of that gay sound when u start windows "dodododo" I wana play something else. Like 3seconds of dane cook, sumtin to cheer me up everytime I accidently kick my computer off and have to turn it back on.

Well, if you go into Control Panel->Sounds and Multimedia you can assign individual sounds to individual items. I think the sounds have to be saved as a .wav file but don't quote me on that. As for making your own sounds out of music files and what not I don't know how to go about that as I've never done that.

Back in the early days of 98 I used to have all system events set to custom sounds. But you know what? No matter what the sound, it gets annoying and highly aggrivating when you keep getting it over and over again.

Startup sounds are totally different though, I've been meaning to change mine, but I'm a lazy lazy bastard.
