Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Just out of curiosity, why are you trying to enable large system cache?
Is there a performance boost to be had from this? I seem to recall this from NT days for boosting server performance for servers with slow disk subsystems.
In any case, I don't know the answer to your question Maybe I can try it out after work today though, and see what happens with my 9800
Bug in ATI drivers, I had it enabled when I got a 9700 Pro and for the life of me couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then I found out about this problem and was majorly pissed. I can't believe they still havn't fixed it yet *sigh* ATI.
I still love my 9800 Pro though
It´s because I got 1 gig of RAM and it is unused most of the time. Applications and stuff loads up faster that´s all. 3dprof has a "ati safe large system cache" may try that one
