Who Runs Vista on a HDD on an Intel ICH8R?

Do you use the Default Drivers Vista comes with? Or do you use the Intel Drivers via the Intel Matrix Storage application?

And are you having any issues?

I have tried both, Raid 0, Raid 1, Non Raid AHCI, and anythime I use Intel Provided Drivers Via F6... I get weird issues, hangups, BSODS, etc. Also, I get an error via the Event Log for the iastor.sys device is timing out.

When I use the default drivers Vista installs, I get no problems, but a higher CPU utilization, and lower MB/s....

I know Vista is new, And there are driver issues.. not a big deal. But I want to make sure other people here are having the same issues, and maybe we can pool together to get the issue resolved quicker.
 
I wouldn't use RAID on a normal desktop, so I haven't tried the RAID drivers. I simply install Vista and then use the Intel Chipset drivers. I don't load the Matrix Storage option.
 
Yeah, I'm getting iastor errors.
Was iastorV error first, then I installed the latest version of Intel Matrix Storage application and it's just iastor error. Lots of them though.
