I bought the samson meteor mic

When i press record in Audacity and dont spak, then i can see the volume meter is moving and activity is shown on the recording track. This is seems to be white noise because i moved the mic away from my pc so the fans dont disturb the recordings.

Then i tryed to lower the record volume from 0 to 100 and i get this white noise

How do i remove that noise ??
 
sounds like electronic interference. a few ways to fix this.

1) if you are using a sound card, try switching to the onboard audio of your motherboard.

2) if you are using onboard audio, try installing a sound card.

3) get a USB microphone/headset

option 3 is your best bet
