Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
When I was folding on my main pc rig it had one smp client, you would just install it and run it. Now I'm looking to start folding again and i see 2 clients deino and mpich. So which does the horde recommend I run ?

Hey cereal_killer24, that's a good question, one I'd like to know too. Which is better and what is the difference in the "deino" vs "mpich"
Would one of our local experts please chime in (you don't really need to be local or an expert, you just gotta' know the difference in the different versions and which is better)
Do you have the 8800GTX OCed? If just at stock you may need to manually trun the fan up, perhaps with a program called Riva tuner (many other out there as well). Or if the cooling on the card is just poor an aftermaket solution may be added for not much $$$$. Would hate for a capable card to sit around and not be able to fold!! good luck.
I have fan set to 80% using rivatuner and it is stock. I was looking at aftermarket heatsinks for it and for the gtx most are pretty pricey. For the cost of the heatsink I can get a 8800gs which I am planning for a htpc/spare gaming/folding box.
