I need the recommended motherboard to overclock my e6300. I can get the ram I need, etc... Just need to know which would be a good overclocking motherboard. I see the [H] shows the DS3 (or reviewed it). What do the rest of you fellas think?

abit AW9D (8)
abit AW9D-MAX (7)

ASUS P5B Deluxe with or without WiFi (3)
ASUS P5W DH (2)
ASUS P5W64-WS Professional (1)

Gigabyte DS3 (6) and DQ6 (5)

Biostar TForce P965 Deluxe (If you can find one) (4)

These are my current picks and the number next to them tells which ones I like best in order. Though I didn't choose them based on sheer overclocking performance, but rather by features, layout, availability and all other criteria. Price wasn't really considered.

Ok, by buying the e6300 I am going for bang for buck. How about now? ;) (Check my other threads, I got this chip for 120 something) :) I know I should have mentioned it, I am sorry for that.

edit: Thank you for the info, it lets me know which boards are out there (that overclock) for core2duo. Now, back to that bang for buck ;)

I have the Gigabyte DS3 and have been very happy with it. I am running my e6300 at 400 x 7 since the day that I bought it. It is nice. I have been very pleased overall with this board...not a single problem, and it supports quad core with the F7 bios. Gigabyte seems to be pretty supportive of this board as well.

Well on the cheaper side, I'd go for the DS3, or the P5B vanilla. The Biostar TForce 965PT might also be a great choice, as it only lacks some of the SATA/RAID features of the Deluxe model. Otherwise, it should perform the same.
