which memory would you guys get

I would go with the power color. I my self have 2 Sapphire 3870s, but if I were to do it again I might consider a different company. The cards are identical so really you should see what experiences people have had with either company. I know people have had problems with Sapphires customer support or lack there of, so I would say try the power color and since it has what looks like an aftermarket cooler on it already that is a plus.

thax for the advice i was leaning towards power color also, but lots of ppl say sapphire is a better brand so that makes it hard for me to decide

i guess i'll go with power color and it looks better too

i have place an order on the powercolor version but i have 2nd thoughts now

i work at bestbuy and today i noticed we have this on a discount for $68

i get a big discount for this but can't disclose it since its not on advertise

thanx for the help

single core processor? still i don't think both hd2600xt and 7600gs will be bottlenecked with your 3.2ghz P4.
unless for a gpu such as 9600gt/3850 and up.

concerning which one, i also think you'd be better of with 2600xt.

hope that help.

boy i have a hard time getting a good driver to work with this card
one of my game wont right correctly well it will run fine just i have some vertical lines down the screen doesn't looks correct

(2600xt)

I like the cooler on the Powercolor , and I have an old Powercolor X800XL that still runs like a champ. That card OCed well and I enjoyed it while I used it. I used it as a back up for a long time and simply never sold it.

If I were making the purchase I'd grab the PC HD 3850. Overclocked 3850s can get very close to HD 3870 performance.

I love mine. I've got two in my third rig, which is an Agena 9600+MSI K9A2 CF. They're @ 760|2038 now. I bought them back when HD 3870s were 250usd and up. They were 154usd at the time.

i just returned the 3850 had new egg recall the shipping cuz their price dropped and i'll place a new order when i got my money back

FWIW, I killed a Powercolor x1850 (??) and I had it watercooled. They RMA'd it, KNOWING that I had changed coolers, so long as I replaced the stock one before I sent it in.
