I don't really want to slog through numerous reviews for these items so I figured I'd asked for some help. Af far as HSF's go, I have been looking at http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...iption=35-108-038&CMP=OTC-pr1c3watch&ATT=Fans

have read some reviews and it looks good. Is there anything better out there?(besides water cooling which is a bit expensive). Noise is a bit of a factor - don't want to go much over 35 db. Also don't want to go much over $70.

For the PSU I have no clue yet. PSU reviews are really boring, and some of the high end ones have outrageous price tags. Hoping for something in the $60 range that won't die and is good for overclocking. Also fairly high wattage as I intend to have SLI. Is it really worth it to spend the big bucks and get the premium ones?

Any input would be much appreciated!
 
the tried and true thermal right xp-120 is nice if it fits on your motherboard. if not the thermal right xp-90 and the zalman7700 are excellent heatsinks.

I also think it is insane to spend over 150-200 for a powersupply. You can get a good PSU for under 100. And yes it is worth it to spend up to 100 the PSU. After all, what other part is connected to everything in your system like the PSU? If that goes, it could take everything with it.
 
I would suggest an OCZ PowerStream or Antec NeoPower and a Thermalright XP-90 w/ 92mm fan. A 92mm panaflo for silence or a 92mm vantec tornado for performance are good options.
