Currently, I have my movies sitting on 2x1.5TB external disks (which have WD Green drives in them). I'm pretty sure they are in the process of failing, so I need to get the data off them while I can. I am going to be moving to internal drives, and the Green's have soured me.
Currently, there is a WD Black 2TB for $100 (I would pick up 2 of them), a Seagate NAS 2TB for $90, or a WD SE 3TB Enterprise drive for $187.
No RAID (yet), although I have plans to move it to one eventually...just need to get the server up.
